Man Shot and Killed in Southwest Marion County
Authorities in Marion County are currently investigating a tragic shooting incident that resulted in the death of a man in the southwest area of the county. The victim, identified as John’L Davis, 26, from Ocala, lost his life in the incident.
Details of the Incident
Law enforcement officials received a call about a shooting at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday. The incident took place in the 2700 block of Southwest 143rd Place Road in Marion Oaks. Upon arrival at the scene, deputies found Davis and quickly transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
