New Delhi: A tragic incident occurred in the United States, where a 30-year-old student from Hyderabad, B Ruthvik, succumbed to a brain stroke. Ruthvik, who had graduated from Texas A&M University, was in the US pursuing higher studies. His family resides in Trimulgherry, Secunderabad, and his father is a retired official from the road transport department.

The Incident

Ruthvik was having lunch with his friends on February 16 when he suddenly collapsed. His friends immediately called for an ambulance and rushed him to a hospital. Medical examinations revealed a clot in his brain, causing the left side of his body to become unresponsive. Despite undergoing surgery, his condition remained critical.

Community Support

Ruthvik’s friend, B Shyam, created a GoFundMe page to raise funds for Ruthvik’s treatment. The page received overwhelming support, with 1,200 people contributing $57,000 towards the medical expenses.

Sad Demise

In an update on the GoFundMe page on February 23, Shyam shared the heartbreaking news of Ruthvik’s passing. Despite a courageous battle for survival, Ruthvik was declared brain dead after being in post-surgery observation. The entire community mourned the loss of a promising young student.
