Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Man Wanted by Taiwan Authorities Found Shot Dead in Bangkok

In a recent development, the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) has confirmed that a man found shot dead in an abandoned shop near Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok was a fugitive wanted by Taiwan authorities. The deceased individual has been identified as Shih Mou-chiang, aged 44, following fingerprint verification conducted by the CIB.

Details of the Incident

According to CIB International Criminal Affairs Division head Lee Kun-ta, Shih was wanted in Taiwan for various criminal offences including violating the Controlling Guns, Ammunition and Knives Act, robbery, and causing road traffic injuries. It is believed that Shih had left Taiwan illegally, as there is no official record of his departure.

Furthermore, the exact location where Shih’s body was discovered near Suvarnabhumi Airport may not be where the crime took place. The CIB is working closely with the Thai police, who have already identified potential suspects in the case.

Discovery of the Body

Thai media reports indicate that the body was found with three bullet wounds to the head, along with a pair of gloves and 500 kilograms of ketamine. A tattoo of the Chinese character “羅” (Lo in English) on one of his arms led a local tattoo artist to tip off the Thai police that the deceased individual could be from Taiwan.

The authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Shih’s death, and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.
