Incident on Interstate 55 in Lincoln County

The most recent crash occurred on Monday, February 26, just after 6:15 a.m. on Interstate 55 in Lincoln County. According to troopers, an unidentified vehicle traveling south on the interstate struck and tragically killed 21-year-old Johnathan Grammer from Brookhaven. Grammer was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving behind a devastated family and community.

Tragic Accident on Highway 51 in Lincoln County

Prior to that, another fatal crash took place before 12:30 a.m. on the same day on Highway 51 in Lincoln County. A 2014 Lincoln MKZ was heading north on the highway when it veered off the road, collided with a culvert, and overturned. The driver, 34-year-old Bryan Ford from Brookhaven, lost his life in the accident, adding to the somber toll of lives lost in these tragic events.

Devastating Collision on Highway 48 in Walthall County

Lastly, a devastating collision occurred just before 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 25, on Highway 48 in Walthall County. A 2022 Dodge Challenger was travelling east on the highway when it left the road, crashing into a guardrail and a tree. The driver, 24-year-old Jehdiel Harrell from Tylertown, tragically lost his life at the scene, leaving friends and family in mourning.
