A heartbreaking incident occurred on Saturday morning near Khanna, on the National Highway, when a taxi driver lost his life in a collision. The deceased, identified as Randhir Singh of Goraya, was returning home after dropping off a passenger in Delhi. Tragically, his Innova collided with a truck on the Delhi-Amritsar Highway, leading to his untimely demise.

Sadak Suraksha Force members quickly responded to the scene of the accident and rushed Randhir Singh to a nearby healthcare facility. Despite their best efforts, the doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. The deceased, survived by his wife, child, and parents, was also the only brother of two sisters. Sources reveal that he had plans to travel abroad in the near future.

The brother-in-law of the deceased shared that Randhir Singh had called his wife just before the accident, assuring her of his imminent return. The family is now left devastated by this tragic loss.
