Tragic Fire Explosion Claims Life of 21-Year-Old Man in Virudhunagar District
A devastating fire explosion at a firecracker unit in Mellampatti village, Virudhunagar district has resulted in the tragic death of a 21-year-old man. The incident, which occurred at around 3 pm, has left the local community in shock.
The victim, identified as Ajit Kumar, was a resident of Arunchalapuram village and worked as a construction worker in the Ravindra fireworks factory. Unfortunately, Ajit lost his life in the explosion.
Following the explosion, residents of Ottampatti village quickly alerted the authorities, prompting a response from the police and Fire and Rescue Department personnel. The fire was eventually extinguished, and Ajit Kumar’s body was recovered by the fire personnel. His remains were then transported to Sattur Government Hospital for postmortem examination.
