Lincoln Woman Sentenced for Involvement in Meth Distribution Ring

A Lincoln woman, Louise Polyansky, has been handed a federal prison sentence for her role in a meth distribution ring that operated in the Lincoln area. The sentencing took place in federal court on Friday, where Polyansky was given a term of 87 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release.

The investigation into Polyansky’s activities revealed that she had been involved in obtaining and distributing methamphetamine in and around Lincoln since November 2020. It was discovered that she had been working with others to receive packages containing large quantities of meth, ranging from one to several pounds, which were then distributed across the city.

Authorities found that Polyansky had obtained a total of approximately seven pounds of meth from her co-conspirators between November 2020 and April 2021. Additionally, she was identified as a key distributor of quarter-pound to half-pound quantities of meth in August and September 2021. It was also revealed that she had been sending the proceeds from the sales to individuals in Arizona.

Polyansky’s sentencing comes after several others involved in the meth distribution ring were also handed prison terms. Co-conspirator Scott Berndt received a sentence of 168 months, Rebecca Frankenstein was sentenced to 90 months, and Tommy Meyer received a 244-month prison term in connection with the case in December 2022.

The sentencing of Louise Polyansky serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts to combat drug distribution and trafficking in the Lincoln area. Authorities continue to work tirelessly to identify and prosecute individuals involved in such illegal activities to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
