An unfortunate incident unfolded on Thursday night in Osceola County, Florida, resulting in a devastating three-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a driver and left three passengers injured. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the collision took place around 7:30 p.m. on Michigan Avenue near Cypress Arbor Place.

Details of the Crash

According to the FHP crash report, the driver of an SUV traveling north on Michigan Avenue lost control of the vehicle, veering off the roadway to the left and into southbound lanes. The SUV collided with a car traveling south, causing it to spin and hit a van traveling north. The SUV then overturned into a water drainage ditch, tragically resulting in the death of the 61-year-old Kissimmee man behind the wheel.

Of the six other individuals involved in the crash, the car’s two passengers sustained serious injuries, while the SUV passenger suffered critical injuries. They were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the car’s driver and van occupants emerged unscathed, with all parties adhering to seat belt regulations.
