Tragic Suicide of 14-Year-Old in Shahjahanpur, UP
New Delhi: An unfortunate incident unfolded in the quiet district of Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where a 14-year-old girl, Vinati Bharti, took her own life in a distressing turn of events. The young class 10 student allegedly shot herself with a country-made pistol at her home, leaving her family and community in shock.
According to SP Ashok Kumar Meena, a suicide note was discovered in Vinati’s room, where she absolved anyone of responsibility for her extreme decision. The note hinted at the internal struggles and pain the young girl had been facing in silence.
On the fateful night, the girl’s mother recounted hearing a sudden gunshot while Vinati was studying in her room. Tragically, by the time she reached her daughter, it was too late. The family was left devastated by the unexpected loss.
The authorities have since taken the necessary steps, with the body sent for post-mortem examination as part of the ongoing investigation. The community is reeling from the heartbreaking incident, urging for mental health awareness and support for those in need.
