Tragic Deaths of Two Students in Bandipora

Two young students from a religious seminary in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district met a tragic end due to suffocation on Wednesday. The incident took place in the serene village of Ashtangoo, leaving the community in shock and sorrow.

Details of the Incident

According to a police official, the victims, Muneer Ahmad Chechi (10) and Tanveer Ahmad Chechi (9), were studying at Dar-ul-Uloom Faiz-ul-uloom when the unfortunate incident occurred. The boys, along with their father Qasim Ahmad Chechi, were found unconscious by Darasgah officials on Wednesday morning.

Despite immediate medical attention and being rushed to the nearby hospital, the young boys could not be revived. Their father, Qasim Ahmad Chechi, is currently receiving treatment at the district hospital in Bandipora.

Identifying the Victims

Muneer Ahmad Chechi and Tanveer Ahmad Chechi, both residents of Malangam in Bandipora, were beloved members of their community. Their untimely demise has left a void in the hearts of their family, friends, and teachers.
