A devastating incident occurred in Colorado Springs, where a 78-year-old woman lost her life in a tragic accident. The incident took place on February 1 in the 3000 block of N. Cascade Avenue, a neighbourhood located west of N. Nevada Avenue off E. Fillmore Street.
The accident involved an auto-pedestrian crash, where two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle around 3:20 p.m. Shockingly, both pedestrians initially refused medical transport at the scene. However, one of the pedestrians later started experiencing severe headaches and had to be taken to a local hospital by a personal vehicle. It was then discovered that the pedestrian had sustained serious, life-threatening injuries.
Tragically, the pedestrian who suffered a head injury, identified as 78-year-old Josephine Cameron by the coroner’s office, passed away on February 6 due to the severity of her injuries.
The driver involved in the accident has not been publicly named in the latest update provided by the authorities.
