A tragic incident unfolded in North Hollywood on Tuesday afternoon, where a teenager lost his life in a fatal shooting. The victim, identified as 19-year-old Jorge Ramos from North Hollywood, was shot in broad daylight on a busy street, leaving the community in shock.
Details of the Incident
The shooting took place at the intersection of Vanowen Street and Ethel Avenue, just west of Coldwater Canyon Avenue, at around 1:30 p.m. The bustling street was the scene of a horrifying crime as multiple calls reporting the shooting flooded the Los Angeles Police Department.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Ramos lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the young victim could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.
