A tragic incident unfolded in Pearl River County, Mississippi, as the Mississippi Highway Patrol identified a Carriere man as the victim in a fatal crash. The incident occurred on Monday, February 19, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Highway 53 in Pearl River County.
Details of the Crash
The victim, 64-year-old Jeffery Williams of Carriere, was driving a 2019 Ford F-150 north on Highway 53 when the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree. Sadly, Williams sustained fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation Ongoing
