Boakye, who had recently moved to Canada, was waiting at a bus stop when a lone gunman opened fire, killing him. Authorities have revealed that Boakye was not the intended target of the shooting, but rather a victim of a random act of violence. Another teenager was also injured in the attack and remains hospitalized.
