SHREVEPORT, LA- Three more individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the heartbreaking shooting that took the life of a one-year-old child in Shreveport. The incident occurred on February 11 in the 500 block of E. Stoner Avenue, leaving the community in shock and mourning.

The Investigation Progresses

Since the tragic event unfolded, Shreveport Police Detectives have been diligently working on the case. On February 19, 2024, search warrants were executed as part of the ongoing investigation to gather crucial evidence related to the homicide. As a result, three suspects have been arrested and charged.

Suspects Apprehended

The three individuals taken into custody are 23-year-old Jaylan Young, 28-year-old Kedarrion Baker, and 23-year-old Leterrion Watts. They are facing charges related to firearm possession. Baker and Young have been charged with possession of firearms by convicted felons, while Watts has been charged with illegal possession of a stolen firearm.

Despite the arrests, the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Detectives continue to work tirelessly to uncover more information and apprehend all individuals involved in the senseless murder of the innocent child.
