Arrest Made in Colorado Springs

The Colorado Springs Police Department announced the arrest of Nicholas Jordan, 25, on two counts of first-degree murder. Jordan, a student at the university at the time of the shooting, was taken into custody without incident.

Victims Identified

The victims have been identified as Celie Rain Montgomery, 26, and Samuel Knopp, 24, a student at the university located approximately 69 miles south of Denver. Montgomery was not currently enrolled at the institution.

It is unclear at this time whether Jordan has legal representation. Court records for the case are not yet available, and no hearing date has been scheduled.
