Two individuals tragically lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in a devastating accident that took place at Nagalapura gate on NH 75 in Kolar. The incident occurred when a speeding private bus collided with a tractor carrying electric poles, resulting in a fatal outcome.
Details of the Accident
The deceased, identified as Papu and Sujai, were transporting the electric poles in the tractor when the driver attempted to make a U-turn at Nagalapura gate without using the indicator. It was at this moment that the private bus crashed into the tractor, leading to the loss of lives and injuries.
Tragically, both the driver and passenger in the tractor lost their lives in the collision. Meanwhile, two passengers in the bus suffered severe injuries, while others on board escaped with minor injuries. Passers-by at the scene acted swiftly to assist the injured individuals and promptly transferred them to a nearby private hospital for medical attention.
