Police Chase Leads to Arrest of Two Missouri Men in Harrisonville

In a recent incident in Harrisonville, Missouri, two men found themselves behind bars after an early-morning police chase through the town. The events unfolded in the early hours of the morning on Friday, Feb. 16, when the Cass Co. Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a pickup truck on I-49 near Highway 291 for an equipment violation.

Chase and Arrest

The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Ryan Flake from Grain Valley, refused to stop and led law enforcement on a chase through the streets of Harrisonville. After several attempts to deflate the truck’s tires, the vehicle finally came to a halt near E. 103rd Terr. and Blue Ridge Blvd. Flake attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by a deputy. It was later revealed that Flake had multiple active warrants from outside the county.

Passenger Arrest

Accompanying Flake in the pickup truck was Christopher Holloway from Peculiar. Holloway was arrested on a warrant issued by the Peculiar Police Department. Both men were taken into custody and transported to the Cass Co. Jail for further processing.

Charges and Bond

Ryan Flake faces charges that include accessory to resist arrest, failure to appear in traffic court, contempt of court, probation violation, stealing $750 or more, and driving while license revoked or suspended. On the other hand, Christopher Holloway is charged with larceny, accessory to resist arrest, pending false report, and two warrants out of Peculiar.

As of the most recent update, both men remain in custody at the Cass Co. Jail. Holloway’s bond is set at $500 for the larceny charge and $350 for the Peculiar warrants. On the other hand, Flake’s bond amounts to $50,000 for fleeing charges, $500 for traffic violations, $250 for contempt of court, $1,000 for probation violation, and $4,000 for stealing charges.
