The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of a tragic incident where a 52-year-old man was discovered shot to death in Joshua Tree.
Discovery of the Crime
On Thursday evening around 11:34 p.m., authorities received a report of shots fired in the 4700 block of Avenue La Manana. Deputies rushed to the scene and found the victim, Richard Andrade, with a gunshot wound.
Victim Identification
Richard Andrade, a resident of Morongo Valley, was identified as the victim of this heinous crime. The investigation revealed that Andrade was shot outside a residence in the area.
Suspect Still at Large
As of now, the suspect responsible for this senseless act remains unknown and is currently at large. The authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in bringing the perpetrator to justice.
