Strange Incident at Spring Antique Outlet Mall
On February 15, 2024, a rather bizarre incident unfolded at an Antique Outlet Mall in Spring, Texas. A man was apprehended by deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office after being caught on surveillance footage placing items from various vendors in his rectum and then returning them to the shelves.
Surveillance Footage Leads to Arrest
The suspect, identified as Mitchell Vest, was observed committing this unusual act at the mall located in the 21100 block of Spring Towne Drive. Thanks to concerned citizens who tipped off the deputies, further investigation was conducted. Constable Investigators were able to positively identify Vest through the video footage.
Charges and Apprehension
Due to the loss of multiple antique items that had to be disposed of following the incident, deputies obtained a warrant for Vest’s arrest on charges of criminal mischief. Subsequently, Vest was located and apprehended by deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Special Operations Unit. He is currently held on a bond set at £100.00 out of County Court 14, as per Constable Mark Herman.
