Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic incident occurred in Gopalpur upazila in Tangail this morning, resulting in the untimely demise of a woman and her teenage son. The victims were identified as China Begum, 48, and her 19-year-old son Shakib Miah, residents of Jhawail in the upazila.
According to reports from Gopalpur Police Station’s Officer-in-charge Emdadul Islam Taiyab, the fatal accident took place around 8:00 am when the mother and son were traveling on a motorcycle towards the upazila headquarters. Tragically, both China Begum and Shakib Miah lost their lives on the spot due to the collision with a passenger bus.
The bus involved in the accident was seized by authorities, but the driver and helper managed to flee the scene, leaving behind a scene of devastation. The sudden loss of the mother and son has left the community in shock and mourning.
