Victims of the Shooting

Last week, a tragic shooting in Philadelphia left seven people injured, ranging in age from 16 to 48. Among the victims were two men, aged 19 and 23, and five women, aged 16, 18, 29, 31, and 47. Thankfully, six of the victims are currently in stable condition at Temple Hospital, while the 16-year-old girl is also in stable condition at St. Christopher’s Hospital.

Suspects and Vehicle Description

According to the police, the suspects in this heinous crime were described as three unknown black males. Two of the suspects were dressed in all black, while the third was wearing all white. The suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a 2004-2008 charcoal gray Acura TSX with an unknown Pennsylvania license plate. The vehicle had a missing front grille, damage to the rear trunk with a yellow tie-down strap securing it, and numerous decals in the rear window. The suspects were last seen driving eastbound on Somerset Street towards 24th Street.

Arrest of Tyheed Harvey

Following an intensive investigation, the authorities were able to locate the vehicle involved in the shooting. Tyheed Harvey, a 23-year-old man, was apprehended as he attempted to enter the vehicle. Subsequent investigation led to Harvey being charged in connection with the shooting on Friday.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin J. Bethel expressed his dismay over the senseless violence that occurred in the city.
