Tragic Accidents on Thatta-Hyderabad Highway
Nine individuals tragically lost their lives in a series of accidents on the Thatta-Hyderabad section of the National Highway. The incidents, which occurred near the hilly town of Jherruck, have left 18 others injured, some critically, as reported by officials and eyewitnesses.

Details of the Fatal Accidents
In the most devastating accident, six labourers hailing from Manik Behrani village perished when the Suzuki pickup they were travelling in collided head-on with a dumper at Hameed Farm. The labourers, on their way to work in Kotri SITE area, were identified as Riaz Behrani, Jalal Behrani, Irfan Behrani, Soomar Behrani, Qurban Behrani, and Waqar Behrani.
The injured, including Hassan, Munawar, Arbab, Irfan, Maqbool, Nouman, Wajid, Mushtaq, Asif, and Gulsher, were attended to at a Jherruck hospital. While some received first aid, the critically injured were rushed to Hyderabad for further medical treatment.
In another tragic incident, a pickup and a high-roof vehicle carrying picnickers to Keenjhar Lake collided near Ali Bahar on the same highway section. Arshad Ali Bangali, the driver of the high-roof vehicle from Karachi, lost his life on the spot. Four occupants of the pickup, identified as Chakar Soomro, Mohammad Ali Soomro, Murtaza Soomro, and Allah Dino Soomro, sustained injuries in the collision.
The third accident involved a Vigo vehicle crashing into the back of a pickup, resulting in injuries to Javed Jakhro, Khamiso Jakhro, and Ghulam Sarwar Khaskheli. Despite being taken to the Makli Civil Hospital for treatment, Ghulam Sarwar tragically succumbed to his injuries.
