Pune Doctors Arrested for Allegedly Changing Blood Samples in Porsche Crash Case
In a shocking turn of events, Dr Ajay Taware and Dr Shrihari Haalnor of Pune’s Sassoon Hospital have been arrested for allegedly tampering with the blood samples of the minor boy involved in the Pune Porsche crash case. The two doctors, along with an employee of the hospital named Atul Ghatkamble, were presented in court and remanded in police custody until May 30.

Details of the Incident
The tragic incident occurred on May 19 when two IT professionals lost their lives after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding Porsche car driven by a 17-year-old minor, the son of real estate businessman Vishal Agarwal. The police have stated that the teenager was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
During a press conference, Pune Police Commissioner Ameetesh Kumar revealed that the blood samples of the juvenile were allegedly replaced with those of another individual. It was reported that CMO Srihari Halnor carried out the blood sample replacement on the instructions of the HOD Forensic Medicine Department of Sassoon, Ajay Tawre.
Arrest and Investigation
On Monday, May 27, Dr Ajay Taware, Dr Shrihari Halnor, and Atul Ghatkamble were arrested for their involvement in manipulating the blood samples and destroying evidence in the case. The police suspect that financial transactions may have taken place to facilitate the alteration of the blood samples. As part of the ongoing investigation, the police requested permission to search the residences of the accused individuals.
During their court appearance, the police sought custody of the suspects for 10 days, which was granted by the Judicial Magistrate First Class. The three individuals are now in police custody until May 30, as the investigation into the Porsche crash case continues.
