In an interview with content creators at the airport, Mr Champagne revealed that he had spent over GH₵200k (approximately KSh 2 million) on his girlfriend. He expressed his bewilderment over her sudden disappearance and hinted at taking action if she had indeed conned him.

“I have come to Kenya for a media tour and to meet a certain lady because I loved her so much. We have been communicating on the phone, but I have not seen her here at the airport, and she is unreachable. I have spent a lot of money on her. I have to look for her because I have so far given her KSh 2 million. She might have conned me, but if that is the case, then it is going to be a war,” Mr Champagne expressed.
