Tragic Accident Claims Life of Young Toll Plaza Worker in Ujjain
A devastating incident shook the city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh as a 28-year-old woman, Asmita Rathore, lost her life in a tragic accident at a toll plaza on Maksi Road. Asmita, who was married to Dilip Rathore, was employed at the toll plaza where the unfortunate incident took place.

The heart-wrenching event occurred on Thursday morning when Asmita was crossing the road near the toll plaza. A dumper, bearing registration number MP 13 GA 1734, was passing by when Asmita’s saree got entangled in the vehicle. In a matter of seconds, Asmita was thrown under the wheels of the dumper, resulting in her untimely demise at the scene.
The incident, captured in a viral video circulating on social media platforms, depicted the tragic moment when Asmita was trapped by her saree and dragged under the dumper. Following the accident, the Kaytha police swiftly apprehended the driver of the dumper, holding him accountable for the fatal outcome.
Financial Aid Offered to Deceased Worker’s Family
In response to the harrowing incident at the Kaytha toll plaza, the local authorities have taken steps to provide financial assistance to Asmita Rathore’s grieving family. Acting on the directives of the collector, SDM Tarana Rajesh Borasi initiated the process to offer a sum of Rs 4 lakh as financial aid to support the deceased worker’s loved ones in their time of need.

Meanwhile, in a separate and equally disturbing development, the Ghatiya police made a chilling discovery on Bichhrod Road. The decapitated body of a young man, identified as Lakhan, was found abandoned by the roadside. The gruesome scene prompted an immediate investigation by the authorities to uncover the circumstances surrounding Lakhan’s tragic demise.
