Ahmednagar Tragedy: Three SDRF Jawans Die in Rescue Boat Mishap
A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra, as three brave jawans of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) lost their lives in a tragic turn of events. The mishap occurred when a rescue boat they were sailing in capsized in the Pravarna river near Sugaon in the Akole area of the district.

Search Operation Gone Wrong
The SDRF team had been deployed to search for two youths who had gone missing after swimming in the Pravarna river the day before. During the search operation, the rescue boat overturned, leading to the tragic drowning of the three jawans. The deceased heroes were identified as Prakash Shinde, Vaibhav Wagh, and Rahul Pawara.
Recovery and Mourning
The bodies of the three jawans were recovered from the river and sent for post-mortem examinations.
