A subsequent search of the apartment revealed small amounts of suspected cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, underscoring the severity of the situation. Unfortunately, the day’s events took a darker turn when another call came in at 11:42 a.m., reporting yet another individual in need of assistance.

Responding to the second call, officers found a 27-year-old man in a critical state due to a drug overdose. Once again, intranasal naloxone was administered, and the man was taken to the hospital for treatment. During a subsequent search of the premises, authorities uncovered additional substances, including suspected fentanyl, further highlighting the dangers posed by these illicit substances.
As the day progressed, the situation took a tragic turn when medics were called to the jail at 2:09 a.m. on Monday. Despite efforts to revive her, a woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, was pronounced dead. The Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office will release further details regarding her cause of death.
