Arrest of Alleged Drug Courier in Dauis, Bohol

In a recent operation conducted in Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion, Dauis town in Bohol, an alleged drug courier was apprehended at 10:55 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. The suspect, identified as 56-year-old Nilfa Limbo, hails from Leyte Province but currently resides in Barangay Sucat, Parañaque City, Metro Manila.

Limbo was found in possession of large packs of suspected shabu weighing 1,050 grams, with an estimated value of P7,140,000. Acting on information received, the Bohol police Provincial Office (BPPO) intercepted the illegal narcotics that were meant for delivery within the municipality.

During interrogation, Limbo revealed that she had received instructions to transport the drugs from a prisoner at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. While the drug recipient in Dauis town has been identified by the BPPO, his identity has not been disclosed to the public as the investigation is ongoing.

Anti-Illegal Drug Operations in Cebu City

On Friday, March 29, members of the Parian Police Station in Cebu City carried out separate anti-illegal drug operations that led to the arrest of two individuals involved in drug trafficking. The first individual apprehended was Marc Jhozel Masriscal, also known as Mamaw, a 28-year-old resident of Cahipa St. in Barangay Hipodromo.

Masriscal was caught with two large packs containing suspected shabu, each weighing 10 grams and valued at P68,000, along with a smaller item. Shortly after Masriscal’s arrest, another drug personality, Ismael Salonoy Inopiquez, 57, also from Cahipa St., was apprehended in Hipodromo.

Inopiquez was found in possession of eight packs of suspected shabu, weighing 10 grams in total and valued at approximately P68,000. Both individuals are currently detained at the Parian Police Station as investigations continue.
