Longview City Identifies Top Needs for Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan
In an effort to enhance the city’s recreational offerings, Longview City Council has updated its Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan, identifying hike and bike trails, pickleball courts, and disc golf courses as the top needs for the community. The plan, originally adopted in 2015, was revisited in 2022 with the help of Stantec Consulting Services.

During a presentation to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Stantec representatives Mark Maldonado and Colt Yorek outlined the proposed updates to the master plan.
