According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash took place at 7:20 a.m. when the vehicle, carrying the three young individuals, was travelling west in the left lane on IH-20 at the 357-mile post. The driver lost control of the vehicle, veering off the left side of the roadway and into the center median. The car continued its trajectory in the center median before vaulting into Russell Creek, where it landed on its front.

Victims Identified

Tragically, two occupants of the vehicle, Brandon Tyler Woods and Annabelle Neely, were pronounced dead at the scene of the collision at 7:30 a.m. by Justice of the Peace Jon Glenn. The third occupant, 19-year-old Kaiden Nathaniel Newby, sustained incapacitating injuries and was rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth for treatment.
