Woman Hits police Officer with Car Before Being Shot by Officer Through Windshield

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Disturbing body camera footage has emerged, revealing a harrowing incident in which a woman struck a police officer with her car before he fired shots at her through the windshield, as reported by WHIO.
The incident occurred on February 7th when officers from the Columbus Division of Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. Upon attempting to perform a routine traffic stop, the driver evaded capture.
According to the report, the pursuit was discontinued after a short period of time. However, approximately 30 minutes later, the stolen car was spotted in a gas station parking lot. Officers once again approached with the intention of arresting the driver, who has been identified as 32-year-old Holly Graham.
Dramatic video footage captured the moment officers strategically blocked the gas station exits using cruisers and spike strips. Despite this, Graham proceeded to maneuver her vehicle around the parking lot, refusing to comply with police orders.

In a shocking turn of events, Graham suddenly accelerated, striking a police sergeant who had been approaching her car. The impact caused the officer to land on the hood of the vehicle. In a desperate bid to protect himself, the sergeant drew his firearm and fired at Graham through the windshield, hitting her at least once. Despite being wounded, Graham continued to drive forward, eventually driving through a grassy median and causing the sergeant to fall off the car’s hood. She then fled the scene.
Fortunately, the sergeant survived the incident and is currently in stable condition, receiving treatment at a local hospital. Graham, however, sustained serious injuries and was also transported to the hospital. The occupants of the two vehicles she crashed into on a freeway were treated for minor injuries.
As a result of her actions, Graham now faces charges of felony assault, according to the report.
