20-Year-Old Labourer Mohan Singh Allegedly Murdered Over Rs 500 Dispute: Bihar Ara Murder Case

A 20-year-old labourer in Bihar’s Ara, named Mohan Singh, was reportedly killed by his friends during a dispute over Rs 500. Singh, who resided in Bara Basantpur village, was brutally attacked with a knife by his acquaintances during what was supposed to be a celebration. His lifeless body was discovered in a field close to the Sanwari Bridge.

Shocking visuals obtained by India Today showed the gruesome murder scene, with the victim’s eyes gouged out and visible injuries on his upper body, inflicted by sharp tools.

According to the police, the accused had enticed Singh out of his residence, inflicted fatal wounds, and abandoned his body in the field. The authorities have sent the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The elder brother of the deceased, Radha Singh, disclosed that Mohan had been demanding unpaid wages of Rs 500 from a local acquaintance named Ajay Mahato. Radha alleged that, at Mahato’s behest, Singh’s friends invited him to a party where they ultimately murdered him. Growing suspicious when his brother failed to return home late at night, Radha became concerned.

A thorough investigation into the matter is currently underway to bring justice to the victim and determine the circumstances surrounding his tragic demise.
