The teenager, who resided next door to the victims, has been charged with their murders, but investigators believe that he had assistance.

In recent developments, the names of all four victims have been released.

Last Saturday, Reedley Police received reports of a burglary at a residence on Church Street near Curtis Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an empty safe that had been forcefully opened. Additionally, they found two bodies in the backyard.

The victims have been identified as 44-year-old Guadalupe Bonds and 81-year-old Billy Bonds.

Further investigation led detectives to uncover the body of Darrell Bonds, Billy’s 61-year-old son, buried in a shallow grave.

On Tuesday, authorities serving a search warrant at a neighboring house discovered a fourth body. It was confirmed to be Matthew Bonds, Darrell’s son and Guadalupe’s husband, who had been reported missing since Saturday.

The 17-year-old neighbor of the Bonds family has been arrested and charged with four counts of homicide.

Reedley Police Chief Joe Garza stated, “We know there are other people possibly involved in this. My belief is that the 17-year-old didn’t act alone, so we are actively searching for other suspects and individuals who may possess information regarding the incident.”

The suspect’s mother, 34-year-old Brynn Curtis, and her boyfriend, 21-year-old Rafael Gonzalez, were also taken into custody on charges of accessory after the fact. Both have since been released on bond and are scheduled to appear in court later this month.

During the search of the suspects’ residence, investigators discovered items belonging to one of the victims, leading police to believe that these belongings may be a motive for the murders.

The case continues to unfold as authorities work diligently to gather more evidence and identify any additional individuals involved.
