Tennessee tornado recovery : “Tornadoes in Tennessee Leave Six Dead, Including Joseph Dalton, Floridema Gabriel Perez, and Anthony Elmer Mendez”

Tennessee residents were left to clean up the wreckage of their homes on Sunday after tornadoes tore through the state on Saturday, causing the deaths of at least six people. The storms claimed three lives in Montgomery County, near the Kentucky border, and three lives in northern Nashville. The victims in Nashville were identified as Joseph Dalton, 37, Floridema Gabriel Perez, 31, and her two-year-old son, Anthony Elmer Mendez.

According to Nashville police, Dalton was seeking shelter inside his mobile home when the storm lifted it and dropped it onto Perez’s residence. Two children from each home were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Witnesses reported six tornado tracks across central Tennessee, prompting the National Weather Service to dispatch teams to investigate the exact paths.
