Mumbai alcohol dispute : 42-year-old Moinuddin Nasrullah Ansari arrested for beating wife to death in Mumbai

A 42-year-old man has been arrested by the Borivali Government Railway Police (GRP) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, for allegedly beating his wife to death. The incident occurred after the woman refused to give him money to buy alcohol. The accused has been identified as Moinuddin Nasrullah Ansari, while the deceased was identified as Parveen Moinuddin Ansari, aged 36.

The couple resided on the side of the railway track between Goregaon and Malad stations. According to the police, Parveen suffered fatal injuries in the assault. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, she was declared dead upon arrival.

Following the incident, the Borivali GRP registered a case against Moinuddin Ansari under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertains to murder. The accused was apprehended in Malwani, Malad, while attempting to flee the city.
