33-Year-Old Man Dragged to Death by Car on Bhopal-Gwalior Highway: Sandeep Atmak Ramesh Identified as the Deceased

A tragic incident occurred on the Bhopal-Gwalior Highway, resulting in the death of a man who was dragged by a car for several kilometers. The local police in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, have detained two individuals connected to the incident and have initiated an investigation.

The victim has been identified as Sandeep Atmak Ramesh, a 33-year-old resident of Bhopal. The incident took place during the night of December 2 and 3, leaving the community shocked and saddened.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police promptly stopped the car near the Doraha toll point. It was during this intervention that the lifeless body of Sandeep was discovered. Tragically, he had lost his life while being dragged by the car.

The police have taken into custody two individuals involved in the incident, namely Sandeep Naqwal and the car’s driver, Rajesh Chirad. The authorities are currently questioning them to gather information about the unfortunate incident. During the interrogation, both individuals claimed that they were returning to Bhopal from Rajasthan after attending a program. They admitted to having a quarrel with Sandeep at a Dhaba, following which they instructed him to take a bus. They assert that they were unaware that Sandeep was being dragged by the car.

Superintendent of Police Mayank Awasthi revealed that a murder case has been registered, and both individuals are being interrogated. The statements given by the suspects have been contradictory, and the police are working to verify their claims. Shyampur Traffic Inspector RN Malviya reported that the victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem analysis. Sub Inspector RB Rathore, who is leading the investigation, shared that they are actively seeking eyewitness accounts and analyzing any available CCTV footage to corroborate the statements of the accused.

This tragic incident has left the community in shock, and the investigation aims to bring justice to the victim and his grieving family.
