Three Tourists Killed in Car Accident by Russian Traveller in North Goa

Three tourists were killed in a tragic accident in North Goa early on Saturday morning when a car driven by a Russian traveller collided with them. The incident occurred around 3:30 am in Arpora village, just as the victims were about to enter their vehicle, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Jivba Dalvi.

The speeding car, driven by 27-year-old Anton Bychkov, crashed into the three tourists, identified as Mahesh Sharma from Nashik, and Dilipkumar Bang and Manojkumar Soni, both from Hyderabad. All three victims were killed instantly. The impact of the collision caused Bychkov’s vehicle to fall into a nearby nullah, resulting in serious injuries for him. He is currently receiving treatment at the Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim.

Once Bychkov is discharged from the hospital, legal action will be initiated against him, confirmed Dalvi. The authorities are determined to hold him accountable for the tragic incident.
