Bihar police have announced a cash reward of ₹50,000 for Ashish Choudhary, the prime accused in the killing of three people, including his wife, Durga Jha, in Lakhisarai. The announcement came on Thursday, as authorities intensify their search for Choudhary.

The incident, which left three others critically injured, took place earlier this week. An FIR has been lodged against Choudhary and two of his close friends, Rajan Paswan and Umesh Sao, who are believed to be involved in the property dealing business. While Umesh and Rajan have been arrested and sent to judicial custody, Choudhary remains at large.

During the investigation, police recovered a pistol, ten empty cartridges, and four live cartridges from the crime scene. They are now working to determine the source of the firearms and ammunition, with initial findings suggesting that Umesh had arranged them.

This is not the first time Choudhary has faced criminal charges. In 2007, he and Umesh were arrested for their involvement in the murder of a coaching center owner. Rajan, on the other hand, is currently involved in the liquor syndicate and real estate business.

Lakhisarai ASP Raushan Kumar has released pictures of Choudhary, along with a description of his identifying marks, including a large permanent tattoo of Lord Shiva on his chest, back, and both hands. The police have urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward, promising a cash reward of ₹50,000 for accurate information.

The tragedy has shocked the community, and authorities are determined to bring the culprits to justice. The investigation is ongoing, and police are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to apprehend Choudhary and ensure the safety of the public.
