On Wednesday, 22nd November 2023, at around 10:07 PM, the Dothan-Houston County Emergency Operations Center received a call reporting a shooting incident in the 4000 block of Richland Road.
Officers from the Dothan Police and the Dothan Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene and immediately began providing medical assistance to the victim who had been shot in the upper body. The injured person was then rushed to Southeast Health, where doctors continued their efforts to save their life. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the victim succumbed to their injuries.
