Two Men Arrested for Shooting at Mexican Attorney General’s Office in Tijuana

Two men have been arrested in connection with shots fired at the Mexican Attorney General’s office building in Tijuana over the weekend. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. However, investigators have revealed that both suspects have criminal records. The director of Tijuana’s Public Safety, José Fernando Sánchez González, stated that an assault weapon and two vehicles were recovered at the scene and have been handed over to state investigators.

According to Sánchez González, the suspects were pursued to the parking lot of a nearby hospital where they attempted to escape in another vehicle. However, they were apprehended after a shootout with municipal police officers. The two men arrested have been identified as 21-year-old Juan Francisco “N,” who has prior convictions for assault and robbery, and 24-year-old Jesús Ángel “N.”

Sánchez González also mentioned that there are details about other suspects involved in the shooting, but the state investigators will be responsible for further investigation.
