CAHOKIA HEIGHTS, Ill. – Tragedy struck the small town of Cahokia Heights as two families are left devastated by a domestic murder-suicide. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when the Cahokia Heights Police Department received a distressing 911 call about a car that had veered off the road and collided with a tree near Robert Price Road and Park Drive.
Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered a man and a woman inside the vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Immediate medical attention was provided, but sadly, their injuries proved fatal.
